How the Automod System works
This page will tell you how this Blacklist system works.
The automod system has 4 checks. Once the user trips the automod system 5 times, a 30 minute mute is issued.

Blacklisted words

This check makes the bot check for any blacklisted words in a sent message. These can be added with the blacklist and unblacklist command. Once a blacklisted word is detected, it is added to the total punishments. Glass utilizes advanced checks to determine if there is a blacklisted word within the message content. For example if the word ban is blacklisted, and someone says I will ban you it will flag. However if someone were to say You are banned then it will not flag.

Urls

This check makes the bot check messages for any urls in a sent message. This can be toggled via the urlscommand. If a valid url is found by the bot, it will be deleted and added to the total punishments. Unlike most other bots Glass checks this url even further than a simple hyperlink. So https://www.glassbot.club/ and www.glassbot.club will both flag the url filter.

Spamming

This check makes the bot check for any spam. This can be toggled via the Antispam or Spam command. Glass uses an advanced spam detection system to find any duplicate or similar messages to the last few messages. If the user flags the spam detection 5 times i.e. they send 5 similar or duplicate messages, they are deleted and added to the total punishments.

Invites

This check makes the bot check messages for any invites in a sent message. This can be toggled via the invites command. If a valid invite is found by the bot, it will be deleted and added to the total punishments. Unlike most other bots Glass doesn't use some standard regex to determine if a message contains an invite. Instead it's taken further by checking if its a valid invite, and if so if it's an invite leading to the same server.

Total Punishments

The total punishments system is based around these 3 checks. If any one of these checks are tripped, it is added to the total punishments by the bot and removed a minute later. If 5 of these are tripped, a 30 minute mute is issued to the user.

Enabling automod

By default, all of the automod features are disabled. To enable them use the command Automod or its alias Am. The commands can be found either in the help or this documentation.
